Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-19

CodeLudo is built to respect your privacy. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information to use the site.

Your learning progress stays on your device

Your XP, streaks, completed lessons, and theme preference are stored in your browser's localStorage — on your own device only. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data will reset your progress.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which lessons people find useful and how quickly pages load. It is built to be privacy-first: it uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint you or track you across other websites. There is no identifier that follows you around, so we cannot single you out or build a profile.

What we receive is aggregate only — counts of page views, referring sites, general country, device type, and page-speed measurements. We see totals and trends, never individuals. Cloudflare processes this on our behalf; you can read their approach in the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

We use no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, and no third-party advertising or social tracking scripts.

Advertising

To keep CodeLudo free, we may display ads in the future, including through Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at Google's advertising policies. Visitors in the EEA/UK will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Cookies

CodeLudo sets no tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless, and there is no advertising on the site today. The only things kept locally are your own learning progress (XP, streak, completed lessons) and your light/dark preference, held in your browser’s local storage — never sent to us, and clearable at any time by clearing site data.

If advertising is introduced later, EEA/UK visitors will be shown a consent choice before any non-essential cookie is set, and this page will be updated to name what changed.

Children

CodeLudo is suitable for learners of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows (for example, when analytics or ads go live). Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
